We are the youth ministry of Heritage Church in Hattiesburg, MS. We seek to help all people discover and deepen their relationship with Jesus, while sharing His love with others.
WHO WE ARE
Heritage Youth is built on one word: Honor. We honor up by respecting leaders, honor down by setting the example for those younger, and honor all around by encouraging and respecting our peers. Honor isn’t just what we do; it’s who we are, because it reflects the life of Jesus.
We believe notetakers are history-makers. We help youth know God and Find Freedom through authentic relationships, worship, and D-Groups.
Our mission is simple: help youth discover their God-given purpose and make a difference. Every youth is created on purpose, for a purpose, and with a purpose.
weekly schedule
Whether you’re brand new to a youth group, have followed Jesus for years, or are looking for a fresh start, you belong at Heritage Youth.
Sunday Mornings | 9:00–9:45 A.M.
Small Groups meet upstairs in the youth space. 6th–8th graders gather together, while 9th–12th graders meet separately for age-specific discussion & growth.
Wednesday Nights | 5:30–7:00 P.M.
Heritage Youth meets upstairs in the youth room for games, worship, and relevant teaching. We also gather in grade- and gender-specific D-Groups for deeper conversation and meaningful relationships.
Prayer Breakfast | 7:00–7:45 A.M.
Start the day with prayer, community, & a short devotional. We meet at Ward’s in Sumrall (1st & 3rd Tuesdays), McDonald’s in Purvis (2nd & 4th Tuesdays), & Topher’s near Oak Grove High School every Thursday.
