IN THIS LESSON
GOD IS NOT ON PAUSE DURING the SUMMER, AND NEITHER IS YOUR CALLING.
Summer can be a strange season. Schedules change, routines fade, and the summer blues can quietly set in. Scripture reminds us that when people lose sight of what God is doing, they stumble. But when they follow His guidance, they experience joy and blessing. Summer isn’t just a break from life; it’s a season that can either weaken our focus or strengthen our faith.
God is not on pause during the summer, and neither is your calling. What you practice, pursue, and prioritize now will shape who you become. You were created on purpose, for a purpose, and with a purpose, and summer gives you space to live that out in real and meaningful ways.
Instead of drifting, God invites us to lean in. This season can be a time to deepen your relationship with Him, walk in real freedom, discover how He has uniquely gifted you, and make a difference wherever you go. Whether you’re traveling, working, playing sports, or spending time with friends, God can use you right where you are.
The summer blues don’t get the final word. Vision does. When you choose God’s direction over distraction, summer becomes a building season; one that leaves you stronger, healthier, and more rooted in your faith.
Bottom Line: This summer matters; don’t drift. Live with purpose.
Challenge: When the summer blues hit, take one intentional step toward God this week.
