IN THIS LESSON

Healing from trauma does not mean ignoring what happened or rushing past the pain. It means allowing God to meet us in our story and walking through the healing process with honesty, support, and wisdom.

Trauma often comes from painful experiences that our minds and hearts struggle to process. Instead of feeling like something in the past, trauma can make us relive moments of fear, loss, or pain as if they are happening all over again. This can leave people feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, and alone. Many youth carry these experiences with them into everyday life, even when no one else can see it.

In John 14, Jesus speaks directly to this kind of pain. As He prepares His disciples for His departure, He promises that they will not be left as orphans. He sends the Holy Spirit to live within us as our Advocate, Comforter, and guide. This means that through faith in Jesus, we are never truly alone. God is not just with us; He is in us.

Healing from trauma does not mean ignoring what happened or rushing past the pain. It means allowing God to meet us in our story and walking through the healing process with honesty, support, and wisdom. God often uses community, prayer, Scripture, and professional help to bring restoration. Trauma thrives in isolation, but healing grows when we let others walk with us.

No matter what you have been through, God sees you, cares deeply for you, and desires to bring hope and healing. You are not forgotten, abandoned, or alone. God is near, and He is faithful to walk with you every step of the way.
