DATING RELATIONSHIPS NEED CLEAR BOUNDARIES
In Week 2, we’ll focus on dating relationships and the importance of protecting our hearts. Relationships involve real emotions, and when our hearts are invested, there’s always the potential for hurt.
That’s why God calls us to guard what matters most. We can’t protect what we don’t guard, and healthy dating requires intentional, godly boundaries.
We’ll look at Hebrews 13:4 to see how marriage is holy and honorable to God, and how dating is a season of stewarding a future marriage. Through 1 Thessalonians 4:3–5, we’ll learn how God calls us to live in holiness and honor by controlling our bodies and desires. Proverbs 4:23 reminds us to guard our hearts, because everything in life flows from them.
Healthy dating isn’t just about having fun or passing time; it’s about being intentional. When we choose to protect purity and set healthy boundaries, we honor God, respect ourselves and others, and build relationships that are clear, healthy, and honoring to Him.
Bottom Line: Commit to protecting purity.
Challenge: Guard your heart by identifying and practicing healthy boundaries in your dating relationships.
