IN THIS LESSON

Healthy relationships are built on clarity, & clarity is one of the kindest things we can give.

In Week 1, of our new series, Situationships, we talked about how unclear priorities and “situationships” create confusion, but a clear commitment brings peace and direction. The most important relationship to clarify first is our relationship with God.

Through Psalm 27:4, we saw that a healthy relationship with God shapes our desires and priorities. Colossians 3:1-4 reminded us to set our hearts and minds on things above, not get distracted by temporary things that pull our focus away from God. And in Matthew 6:33, we were challenged to seek God’s Kingdom first, trusting that He knows our needs and will provide.

When we commit to God first, everything else begins to fall into place. Clear focus on Him leads to healthier, stronger relationships in every area of life.

Bottom Line: Commit to God first.
Challenge: This week, intentionally put God first.
