OVerview of the lesson
Scripture: Mark 9:21-29 + Hebrews 11:6 + 2 Corinthians 5:7
This week, we learned about faith in the middle of doubt. In Mark 9, a desperate father brought his son to Jesus and honestly admitted, "I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!" His story reminds us that faith and doubt can exist at the same time.
When doubt shows up, God doesn't ask us to hide it. He invites us to bring our questions, fears, and struggles directly to Him. As we remember who God is, compassionate, faithful, loving, and trustworthy, we can choose to trust His character even when life doesn't make sense.
Faith is not having all the answers. Faith is taking the next step and trusting God, even when we cannot see the whole picture.
Bottom Line: When doubt shows up, bring it to Jesus, remember who God is, and take the next step of faith.
