Overview of the lesson
Scripture: 1 Chronicles 16:11 + Isaiah 55:6–7 + 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18
This week, we learned how to respond when we cannot see God working in our lives.
In 1 Chronicles 16:11, we are told to look to the Lord, depend on His strength, and continually seek His presence. We should keep pursuing God whether we feel close to Him or not.
Isaiah 55:6–7 reminds us to seek God, turn away from sinful actions and thinking, and return to Him. Sometimes sin, distractions, or unhealthy choices can cloud our vision and make it difficult to see God clearly.
In 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18, we are told to remain joyful, thankful, and never stop praying. Even when we do not understand what God is doing, we can keep talking to Him and trusting that He is near.
We may not always see God working, but that does not mean He has stopped working. Keep praying, keep worshiping, and keep seeking Him.
Bottom Line: Keep seeking God.
